1966 Jaguar Mk.2 Saloon

Last used during a successful heist. This is where they put the gold bullion

1966 Jaguar Mk.2 Saloon (for restoration).
Just retrieved from 13 years in storage. A complete UK supplied RHD car in red with red leather interior, including the rare reclining front seats. This has a 2.4 engine, powering the 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive and wire wheels. Matching numbers. It comes with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate. The bodywork and paint, glass and chrome is all in remarkably good condition considering the years of storage. The floors are solid and appear to have been undersealed. The outer sills (and probably inner sills) need replacing, as will the rear wheel arches. Some bubbling is evident on the bottom of the n/s passenger door skin. The front and rear screens have been removed, but both are present, along with associated rubber and chrome trim.
Parts of the interior will require refurbishment /renewal, as can be seen from the photo’s.
As it has not been run for over 10 years, no attempt has been made to start the engine at this point.
The car comes with an old style log book and several old MOT certificates which support the 97500 miles on the odometer. There are some parts and servicing invoices, including one for extensive repairs to the front floor and chassis area in 1994.
